ABOUT
I simply love photography! Art in nearly every form has always been an important part of my life. From an early age, drawing, painting, sculpture, and photography were my source of self expression. I began taking photos around the age of 3 or 4 and received my first camera for Christmas when I was 6.
I grew up in Arkansas and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from Arkansas State University. I worked for several years as a graphic designer, and even ran my own successful advertising agency, but decided to continue my education. With a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Arkansas, I became the Program Director for the Graphic Design program at NorthWest Arkansas Community College. I've also taught for the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and have been the instructor for several photographic workshops.
My photography has been exhibited in galleries across the country, published in several books and magazines, and used in advertisements. I've been honored with numerous awards, including a prestigious Arkansas Governor’s Fellowship award for photographic art, and my work is included in the permanent collection of the Arkansas Arts Council.
My beautiful wife, Nicole, and I live in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
